  1. I assume you've all seen Doug's letter regarding the DSP code by now.
  2. I have a reply mostly finished, but I don't know if I should mail it...

  4. It never occured to me that we might run into these kind of problems,
  5. but I guess it's time we do something about them.
  6.  
  7. Unfortunately, nothing's ever been said clearly , that I can recall, about
  8. what the legal status is of the BAD MOOD project and the code developed
  9. for it. It was decided from the start that all sources should be available
  10. for anyone to work on at any time, but noone considered that it would be
  11. necessary to require that any new people joining the project would have to
  12. agree on this...

  14. Has it even been said clearly if this is FreeWare, PD or GPL (or whatever)?
  15. (Does anyone have a short description of what the GPL means, by the way?)

  18. It looks like we _really_ need a discussion on this subject.
  19. What does everyone have to say? Particularly those who are involved with
  20. the actual work (programming, graphics, sound, levels etc).
